Has joined the Obama train. What about Johnny for VP? I bet he had that in mind.

His wife Elizabeth said she thinks Clinton has the superior health plan and will not be part of the endorsement and is not flying to Michigan.

This is, and has been, the obvious ticket. The deal may have been struck weeks or months ago, announced now in order to deflate the gains made by Hillary yesterday in WV.

However, one has to wonder about the wisdom of an XXXX-Edwards ticket, as it didn't work very well last time out of the gate. Elizabeth strikes me as the smart one of the bunch. I would have voted for her as well.

He's already said he's not interested in another run at VP. Having just watched the endorsement speech, which was fantastic, I have to admit that it'd be a great ticket!

I'm thrilled about Edwards' endorsement, and in watching the superdelegates starting to coalesce around Obama.

I like John Edwards, I really do, but for some reason the idea of having him as VP makes me a little crawly. I have nothing solid to base that on, and maybe I'll get over it. It just doesn't feel right to me, though.

I think the endorsement is meaningless to anyone but John Edwards. Methinks someone does want to be VP against all previous protestations. Otherwise, as Dennis Miller said (and I am paraphrasing), it's akin to getting the endorsement of Ryan Seacrest.

I have to agree with Trop though, isn't it funny that John waited until a known blow-out was coming in WV before announcing his endorsement?

The Boy's Club is well in session I guess whether Obama likes it or not. I wonder if Al is going to endorse him after Kentucky's loss.

No, he'll endorse him after his Oregon victory.

We are very excited about Obama out here. I think it will be a blow-out success for Obama as Bill Clinton (dang, what happened to him?) keeps assaulting folks in the audience here and making folks switch sides like mad so we don't have to deal with him for 4 more years.
