Patient had a chemical burn from an airbag. Dictation says, She was treated for left (s/l homa-not-amus) blur with no distinct lesion but consistent with symptoms.

Any clues, not my area of expertise!

Your s/l is consistent with homonymous, an ophthalmologic term meaning roughly "on the same side in both visual fields" though I have to say I have a little trouble figuring out how a chemical burn could produce that (a burn on the left side of each cornea seems a bit odd??).

Just a suggestion, with the odd pronunciation, maybe you should question it. . .

Ophthalmology isn't anyone's area of expertise except the ophthalmologically inclined.
