He is clearly saying "parietum". I have checked Dorland's, googled and checked OneLook, and see nothing like this. He is not one for making up words. Any ideas? Thanks.
What a great resource, and one I'll use often! Thanks so much, Meri. I had to get it in so changed it to parietal area - don't know why I did not think of "bone" instead of "area". However, he was clearly saying parietum. Even though he is not one to make up words he must have this time, because he does not generally slur either. Thanks again.
