Could sure use some help with this one--I've been Googling for about half an hour trying to find this term! GI doc is dictating about a motility study and says, "The motor function of the ______ (s/l "rulim") was completely chaotic, with neuropathic features."

Later on in the note she also says, "Assessment of the vascular supply to the proximal portion of the ______ (same term)is also warranted.

Has anyone run across this before?

I found it!! It's "Roux limb" (the pt has had a gastric bypass).

Mystery solved--I just love it when that happens!
