Absolute Transcription is looking for experienced full time transcriptionists to type in Word. Must have 3 years or more recent experience in Auditory, speech language pathology transcription which specialize in the cochlear implant to qualify for this position.

This account is 65 keystroke line using Abacus line count program. We count shifts, tabs, returns, CAPS, underline, bold, italic, spaces, etc. This is close to gross line pay. While on proofer your pay is 6 1/2 cents and off proofer your pay is 7 cents. This accounts starts immediately and you must be available immediately to work. You are paid on the 1st and 15th of each month by mail. Must meet our 24 hour turnaround timeframe. This is an at home position. Experience with Ftp and Express Scribe is helpful.

Independent contractor to work Monday through Friday. Can choose desired work hours, but must be able to stay consistent on time of day/night when finished work is returned and within 24-48hour turnaround time. Transcriptionists are assigned their own specific clinic(s) and doctors to type for each day, which means you get the good, the bad, and the ugly that comes along with the package deal. By typing for assigned clinics/doctors, each transcriptionist is able to get comfortable and can produce the work faster on a daily basis; however, this also means that there tend to be slow work days and heavy work days. This position does not allow for the transcriptionist to type a certain amount of lines per day and then call it quits.
