You have to register for this but it's a great site. You can search by condition, drug or fuzzy. It gives a ton of information about each drug, including pictures, prices and lab tests.

Medscape also has a listing of drugs by class.
For instance, if you knew you were looking for an anticoagulant you could click on "Blood Formation and Coagulation" class and keep clicking through until you got to the list of anticoagulants. That way you can see the whole list of the type of drug you are looking for and see one that sounds like it.

As far as I have been able to tell you can only get to this section and the one above directly by clicking on these links.

You have GOT to be kidding me! Only 3 days ago I was wishing that I could just take a "class" for medications. Not just the meds, though, more about how they work, what they are used for, JUST LIKE THIS SITE! Thank you so much. Once again, you have outdone yourself NightBird. I have used many links you have shared, but this one, for me, tops it all!

New features at Drugs.com
Medical Encyclopedia an injury reference from ADAM.
Browse By Medical Condition Like Building Better Health's feature. Click on a disease and see all the drugs used to treat it.
Pharmaceutical Manufacturer Information A list of the drug companies with links to their web sites.
Health Encyclopedia Lots of good basic information here.
Three different drug databases:
1. Micromedix, which looks like the original one.
2. PDR, listing by brand names and complete prescribing information as you would find at Rx.list, plus pictures.
3. Cerner Multum, with a listing by generic with the drug names not capitalized.
Using the "Search by Drug Names using this complete A-Z list" searches the 3 databases at once.
Careguide - Another encyclopedia with very basic information.

Epocrates
They now have their online version available for free. It only has about 3000 plus drugs but it is updated every week and has some great features: It is a frame format. On the left you can browse by letter or by class. You can search and as you start typing letters in the search box drugs with those letters start to appear. When you click on a drug the information about it appears on the right side, with the indications and dosage immediately visible; it's a very fast way to find a drug when you're working. 
You need to register for this.

Oh, this is so disappointing - an "upgrade" where they remove one of the best features. 
Drugs.com now has this feature but they only have 24,000 drugs compared to 60,000 at Caremark.

I keep going back to Caremark and thinking, "It must be here somewhere. I'm just not seeing it." That was the handiest feature. I hope they bring it back.
I only get the error message if I use my bookmark. If I type "caremark.com" into my address bar, I go straight to it.

I guess they are still working on the site. When I first tried it after the change the original link still worked.
Maybe we can email them and tell them we want that feature back.
