In our April 21 print edition, we talked to advocates with the Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity (AHDI) and the Medical Transcription Industry Association (MTIA) to learn more about the Advocacy Summit coming up May 15-16. Those interviewed talked of ways that every MT could participate in the advocacy effort, even if they couldn't journey to Washington, DC.

In that spirit, below is a sample letter that you can use to write to your legislators about important issues facing the medical transcription industry.
