After several minutes of searching what s/l Aqua Mantis (for bleeding control after hip surgery in a patient with von Willebrand), I finally found THIS. (Of all places, I found it on MT-Stars-or-whatever-it's-called-now (and of course, with 2 different answers--one even suggested Aquamatrix!).
I could not find this in Vera or my Stedman's books. Where could I go to submit this, or is this already in a book and it's one I just don't have? I mean, how would I go about writing HPI or Lippincott, Williams, and Wilkins to submit this term for publication?

The Stedman's books usually include a green postage-paid card on which you can submit new terms you would like included or terms you think need to be revised. You can also go to the Stedman's website or E-mail Stedmans at LWW.

Ooh, another great idea. Thank you! I will rummage around and find one of those. I should have plenty, since I got several Stedman's word books with my course.
Does anyone have the equipment word book? Maybe it's already in there. I'm thinking of offering it to myself as part of my graduation present (hopefully by the end of June! ).
