I have always had a problem with drinking my 8 glasses a day- water just tastes "yucky" to me- but I found that if I flavor it with a citrus taste (like True Lemon or True Orange crystals) it is much easier to drink. I am even ENJOYING it!
I have cut my soda intake almost to nothing. I feel less bloated without all that soda and am feeling ready to tackle the next hurdle, exercise. I am looking for a DVD that I can do at home with my 17 month old. Maybe dancing or something. Any ideas there?

Yea for the water :o). I'm a big soda drinker and try to even it out but I never make the 8 glasses a day.

I bought Core Rhythms about 2 months ago and really like it. It is Latin dancing including the Samba, Rumba, Swing, and others. There are 6 or so DVDs in all; you get 4 in the first shipment and then 1 or 2 DVDs later on.

My mom thinks it is difficult but she NEVER exercises, and I have trouble with the Full Workout disc, but that's because of a medical condition that drastically impairs my coordination and balance.

Another one that is fun is Hip Hops Abs. I have that as well and it is, of course, Hip Hop dancing. I see a huge similarity between Core Rhythms and Hip Hop Abs.

Both workouts have beginner workouts and slower workouts.

I'll go to someplace like Target and look at their selection to see if they have the Hip Hop Abs. The other sounds like too much work learning the dances. I tried a library DVD for Moms and Babies- what a snooze. Guess you get what you don't pay for, right?
One of the contestants on The Biggest Loser had a "goal" that I can strongly relate to- it was "To lose weight before my son knows I'm fat." I am so there...

Core Rhythms isn't difficult in that sense; they show you the steps in the first DVD like the Tae Bo Instructional DVD.

I haven't seen Hip Hop Abs in the stores but I have seen it on E-bay. I got mine from seeing it on TV.
