Hi Webmedx employees, I am interviewing with Webmedx tomorrow and I decide to work there and they decide to hire me, I wanted to know if it is better to use my computer or theirs. In the past when looking at their ads I did not see that option and you could only use theirs, now you do have the option.

Check into that - if you use their computer, you are working on the webmedx platform. If you use your own, you would be working on the Transhealth platform, Chartmatrix...

BizzeeMT is right. Webmedx computers use Enterprise (great platform, I love it!), but your own computer means you are on one of the TransHealth accounts and on that platform which I know nothing about.

I am currently and IC, and of course, I am using my own computer. I have toyed with going employee for several reasons, and I have toyed with applying with Webmedx. Can someone here tell me the pros and cons of using your own computer and/or using the one they offer you? Do you have to "rent" their computer? By using their computer, are you unable to use the expander you like? (I use IT.) I have heard that the TransHealth platform is a bit slower and more cumbersome than some. Does the Webmedx platform work in Word? Thanks for any information you can provide!

Hi--I had a bad experience with Webmedx proprietary platform and IT. It seems some commands in IT conflict witn or have another function in their software, and I would continually lose documents (they would just "disappear") and/or puter would freeze up. System was also extremely slow, though don't know if this had to do with IT. I gave up after a month. This was about a year ago, so don't know if they have improved--I'd be interested to know if anyone is currently working with that platform and Instant Text. Geedub
