Need recertification help . .

I desperately need some medicolegal and technology in the workplace CE credits for my recertification due in March. I ordered the textbook The [u]Medical Transcription Workbook but can't figure out how to differentiate between exercises in the book. I have the HPI Guidelines for CE Credits but that is no help to me. Don't know what the number in the second column corresponds to. HELP!

I am not sure how much help this will be to you, but there are several articles in both Plexus and Matrix that you can read and then take the online test from the AHDI website for that will give you credits in those 2 areas. If you are not a member that won't help you though. In that case you will need to locate and read other articles from perhaps AHIMA or other professional magazines and then submit the form for approval for those articles before you can claim them on your renewal form.
There are several webinars that nonmembers can order and listen to as well, there is a list of what is available on the AHDI website somewhere on the certification information page of the website. They do charge for those, around $20, I think, but there might be a couple that would help for those 2 areas. You would need to write the 200 word essay for those I think.
