Sad news about Nora....

Thank you so much for all your support and prayers. Nora passed away this morning at 5:15 a.m. You know, God made her special and we have to believe she is with him now.
She succumbed to her disease, Trisomy 18. Her little brain just forgot to tell her to breath, and there was only so many times we could save her from that. It was her time to be with God.
Thanks for the tremendous support and all the prayers.

that is very sad to hear. I never posted earlier, but have been reading along. how long did you get to have her with you again?
you are a very strong and brave woman. I can only hope that I would have the same strength as you if I were faced with such a challenge.

It's so hard to lose someone any time, but near Christmas is even harder. I really have admired your attitude throughout all this. My prayers are with your family as you grieve.

We did have eight wonderful weeks right to the day with Nora, as she was born October 18 and passed December 18. We were so blessed just to be chosen by God as her family. I feel so much comfort knowing she's really home now, with God, in no pain.
Thank you so much for all of your kind responses. Now that Nora's gone, I probably won't have much to post, but I will be "lurking" around the board.
