MT Desk/Chat has the largest active online MT community dating back to 1996. Our membership consists of a variety of MTs with 30+ years experience, to MTs who found the school of their choice on this site and have been successful working MTs for years now, to MTs who are just just now starting out, and others just beginning their educational journey. In short.......a plethora of MTs who willingly and generously share their knowledge and experience with anyone willing to listen. Over the years we have found that many of the questions potential MTs have are the identical questions that those that have come before have also had. With that in mind, we have saved many of the previous threads (discussions) on the relevant topics we feel will be most helpful to individuals who are in the midst of the decision-making process. We understand and appreciate the importance of making the right choice for each individual, and as such, I have put together a list of previous threads that have proven to be helpful in the past for people who have been in the exact same spot you are in right now. Keep in mind that all schools are definitely not created equal. Please take the time to read through the posts, search through the NEW MT ARCHIVES for anything that is not addressed here, and then post any questions you may still have.
