Hey! I have just been busy taking care of this sweet little baby. She has really hung in there, and is living much longer than the doctors expected. Fifty percent of trisomy 18 babies do not live past one week...and she will be five weeks tomorrow. I truly feel blessed. Still haven't had time to try and post a picture, but maybe soon.
Things are returning to a little more normal than they have been around the house. I am stuck here because Nora is on oxygen and it's hard to get out, but I'm not complaining. I did think I'd have a lot of time to catch up on things, but for now her care is taking a lot of time.
I feel so blessed to have little sweet Nora and I am soaking in every minute. I am fortunate that I am not working currently, so I'm not on the computer much these days. But I will try and keep you posted.
She did have a doctor visit and she had gained weight, so that's good news.
Thanks to all of those keeping us in your prayers.
