I just got a good deal on Office 2003, and would like to use Stedman's Spellcheck (not sure which version, but it only has options to install up to Word 2002). Has anyone tried this combination? Will it work? (Insert hopeful smiley here.)
I have a newer version of Spellcheck, and it is torture getting it installed, since it needs to be activated via phone. (The process involves the reciting of a multitude of numbers.) I plan on getting a new computer next month, and I was hoping to avoid making that dreaded call to Stedman's twice in such a short amount of time!
Turns out I was being extremely silly. I have Spellcheck 2005 (or at least that's the version I prefer to use) and when I installed Office 2003, Spellcheck recognized that 2003 was on the system and has installed.
If I get a new computer next month (as planned) then I might install Spellcheck 2006 (the latest version I own) but I don't want to go through the hassle of activation, for just a months' use on this computer . . .
