Does anyone know of a way I can take my equipment with me and stay in hotel room and not incur hotel telephone charges out the wazoo for using my Lanier machine?
Might depend on the hotel. Can you use phone cards with it? If so, you could find out in advance if they charge if you've reversed the charges or something
The phone card idea would probably not work. I tried that with my Lanier and most of the services are VOIP, which does not work with the Lanier. I am thinking the only way to do something like this with the Lanier would be if they offered unlimited long distance. Not likely in a hotel room that usually charges even for a local call!
