Since I've already posted here twice, I guess I had better formally introduce myself! I am an MT-to-be, just beginning my studies at Andrews. I'm one week into the course and I'm loving it!
I currently work in the financial services industry but am facing the prospect of losing my job for the second time in less than a year due first to downsizing and now to a merger. I'm a proud new mom as well, and, after a lot of soul searching and research, I decided to pursue a career as an MT. After pouring my heart and soul into my corporate job and getting nothing in return, I'm not ashamed to say that my focus is now purely selfish. I want a career that will allow me to remain intellectually challenged and stimulated while affording me a lot more quality time with my baby girl. I believe MT will fit that bill beautifully!
