It appears these are not limited only to those who wish to participate in a leadership role within this organization and the courses are approved for CEC, including some of the more elusive ones that those trying to fulfil the new category requirements for CEC may be searching for.

I don't know about complictated, but I do find some of them rather odd, with little real bearing on the actual work we do ... sometimes I think the group is realigning itself and aiming the goals of what they do and work for more at management skills instead of MT skills, but that is just me.
In any case, with more CMTs opting to drop the membership lately I think keeping an eye out for preapproved CEs will become more important for sure.
