Does anyone know of any online terminology testing sites? I have a terminology test for a job interview tomorrow and I was looking for testing sites. I have been typing for a long time, but have not written a terminology test in quite a while so the test/quiz would be very helpful. I was told that the word is given to me and I would need to give the meanings....not a multiple choice test.

Thank you. \:\)

I don't know of any sites, but then there's millions of words and you need to know the ones they will be giving you.

Don't overthink this. Be confident in your abilities and go see how you do.

Thank you anyway. I'm just feeling a little rusty. Spelling them no problem, but remembering the meanings of them...well that was a long time ago I had to actually break the words down with "correct" meanings

Thanks again.

Here's a flashcard site. This has 95 flashcard groups for medical terminology. If you go up one level, there are a whole bunch of MT flashcards too.Flashcards
one level up (under the Medicine section on the right side of the page).

I only have this site in my favorites because I'm toying with the idea of going for my CMT, and it seemed a good way to gauge the skills I need to focus on. I agree with Tropsicle though; don't get flustered by the test. Unless this is your first MT job, you'll have been studying terminology with every report you transcribe, so it's in there.

Now that I have suggested the studystack website, I will agree with someone from another post that warned about mistakes. The more I use it, the more mistakes I am finding. That's bad! Use it with caution...
