I went to Goggle and typed in "Nitropaste" Got several hits. The spelling is as you have it typed (with a capitol N).

As far as I know, "nitropaste" is slang for nitroglycerin paste (ointment). Nitro-Bid® ointment and Nitrol® ointment, as suggested below, are often referred to as "nitropaste."

The doctors use this term a lot, dropping the ending of the first word and making it sound like all one word; and it can make an MT yank hair out by the handfuls!

This is in reference to nitroglycerine in a paste form. There is a brand name "Nitrol" for this. Nitrol paste is nitroglycerine is an ointment/paste to be applied to the chest (this is per the Quick Look Electronic Drug Reference).
