1. When you register, write down the name you used as your sign-in name as well as your password.

2. Once you have completed the registration, there is no need to wait for an e-mail from the site. You're good to go. Just sign in.

3. If you change your e-mail address - be sure to come to the site and make the change here as well. If you do not, and you end up losing your password - you're pretty much out of luck. We DO NOT have the ability to retrieve your password for you!!!!!!!

From the FAQs on the site:
Quote:

All you need to do is go to the login page of the forums and enter your Username in the Username field. Then click the button marked I forgot my password, and a temporary password will be emailed to the email address of the username you registered.

This process is safe because the password is only emailed to the original owner of the account. There is no way to steal the password by using this feature.

So, when you don't receive a response from someone after you've asked for help - that's why. Sending nasty e-mails doesn't change the one and only way to retrieve your password.

4. Log-in problems. Again, go to the FAQs and read the various fixes to the problem.

These issues are not the fault of the site, the administrators, or the users here. We try to help where we can, but the fact is, unless it is a widespread problem, chances are it's on your end, and in those instances, it's just something you're going to have to try to figure out.
