Many times when you have a question, it is entirely possible that your question has already been asked and answered (multiple times! ). Your best bet before posting any question is to search the forums here first.
How do you do that?
Click on the Search link up on the bar that resides at the top of every forum.
You'll be brought to the Search box
Select the forum you'd like to search in. The default is for all forums, and since the search runs pretty quickly, it might be to your advantage to just leave it at that.
Type in your Keyword search term(s) in the available box.
Again, the default is set for "in subject and body" and leaving it as such will give you the best results.
In the Date Range box ---- If you have an idea of when you think you may have seen what you're looking for, then select the appropriate date range - either Newer than or Older than.
If you're not sure if it's a topic that's ever even been discussed, try first by deleting the 1 and change the week to a blank in the Newer than and then putting 1 in the Older than and day(s). and then just click submit.
You also have the option of changing the newer than to x number of years. Our last upgrade to this particular forum was 18 months ago - so changing that to 2 years will cover all the posts in the forum.
If your search yields no results, or the posts you did find do not answer your questions, then feel free to post!
