Kimmbberr Kimmbberr Member Registered: 10/04/99 Posts: 1842 Loc: Corvallis, Oregon	I think it would be interesting to ask who you think our most corrupt president has been. There is a list: 1. Nixon...for obvious reasons. 2. Harding. He was simply a gangster acting as president. 3. Buchanan: He wanted to please his southern friends more than keep the nation together before the Civil War. This was the age of the Robber Barons. Most historians consider him an honorable man personally but with really poor taste in friends whom he made no effort to control. In fact, he was pretty much a failure at everything but war. He didn't want to. I've heard tapes played of his phone conversations with Jackie Kennedy after JFK died and it's pretty creepy.
